I'm a Texan at heart, although raised in the Flint Hills of Kansas near the Tall Grass Prairie and in the midst of the fields of corn and wheat. I was born in Dallas Texas, and I consider my roots to be planted there. I just have some really long roots and ended up two states north to grow.
I really have a strong desire to help people. I want to be a tool of encouragement for people to accomplish the things they often dream about. And if I can help someone out by simply writing my story down for others to read, then I will do whatever it takes to let my story be read.
I created this page to give people out there a chance to read about someone who has gone through what they might have or are experiencing. When you don't know anything about one side of your family, or you don't know any of your real family, it's hard to grow up and get through life without becoming curious.
That's what I did. My entire life I was curious decided that I needed to meet my real father. I did, and I wont say if it ended good or bad, because I consider it still to be a work in progress.
I want to share my story so that it may encourage others to look for their missing pieces of their history. After all, before I met my dad, all I did was search and search on the Internet looking for people with a story. I wanted to hear the stories with the good endings. It was hard to find stories. I want to make that easier for those out there at the research phase. It helps a lot.
